She Arrives...

She Arrives in the Changing Light

Not loudly. Not urgently, but in the coolness that touches bare skin before autumn has found its name. In the different quality of the morning air. In seed heads beginning to loosen along the hedgerows and berries quietly ripening where only weeks before there were flowers.

She arrives as the feeling that something has shifted before you can explain what it is.

A thought that visits and disappears when you reach for it. A longing without a destination. A quiet recognition that something in your life is changing, becoming, ripening at the very edges of your awareness.

Her Mythology

Golden Reverie carries the energy of Lughnasadh — the first harvest festival of August, when the year begins to offer the visible fruits of everything that has been tended, nurtured and allowed to grow.

Who She Is

✨ Golden Reverie
The keeper of sacred timing. The quiet art of recognising what is ready.

Golden Reverie does not arrive with urgency or fire.

She arrives in the changing light.

In the coolness that touches your skin before the season has found its name.

In the quiet knowing that something is shifting long before you can explain why.

She teaches the gentle craft of recognising what is ready.

She arrives as a longing. Soft, persistent, quietly insistent. The particular ache for a life that feels fuller, softer, more truly yours. The vision that surfaces in the space between sleeping and waking. The dream you keep having that you keep talking yourself out of.

She calls to those who have forgotten they are allowed to want things.

Who have been surviving for so long that dreaming began to feel irresponsible. Who have been so focused on what is practical, possible and sensible that the impractical, the beautiful and the true have been quietly waiting their turn for years now.

What She Invites You to Explore

What feels different, even though you cannot quite explain what has changed?

What has been quietly growing in your life while your attention was elsewhere?

What feels ready to be gathered, acknowledged, spoken, chosen or received?

What are you reaching for before its time — and what might change if you allowed it a little more sun?

What have you already grown that you keep overlooking because your eyes are fixed on what comes next?

The Energy of the Season

Sacred timing. Gentle harvest. Recognising what is ready

August is the season of the first harvest — not the final one, but the first visible evidence that everything you planted, tended and stayed with through the cold months was real. The first fruits of the year's work, ready to be gathered, ready to be received.

Golden Reverie arrives here — in the warm, golden, generous energy of Lughnasadh — as the invitation to finally receive what has been growing.

Not to reach for more. Not to push harder. To receive what is already here.

Her Moon Connection

Golden Reverie is strongest at the Waxing Gibbous and Full Moon phases. In those moments when what has been growing begins to reveal itself, when something that was once only a seed becomes visible enough to recognise.

Frequently ASKED QUESTIONS

Why might I feel drawn to Golden Reverie?

When you sense that something is changing before you can quite name what it is. When an old dream begins whispering again. When you’re questioning whether you’re allowed to want more. Or when life is asking you to notice what is already growing rather than constantly reaching for the next thing.

What will Golden Reverie invite me to explore?

Your dreams and desires, your relationship with abundance and receiving, what is ready and what is still ripening, where you may be moving the goalposts on yourself, and the possibilities you haven't yet given enough room to breathe.

Do I need to be in a particular place in my life to work with her?

No. You don't need a big dream, a five-year plan or even to know what comes next. Golden Reverie is as much about noticing the first whisper as she is about recognising something ready to be harvested.

Can I return to Golden Reverie at other times of the year?

Absolutely. Although she belongs to her place within the Wheel and the Barley Moon, sacred timing isn't an August-only lesson. You may find yourself returning to her whenever something new is quietly beginning, ripening, or asking to be received.

Do I need to be part of The Beckoning to buy one?

No. The Moon Goddess Journals can be enjoyed completely independently. Members of The Beckoning simply receive special member pricing on the journals and colouring journeys.

A Place To Wander Together

The Art and Soul of Journaling has a home on Facebook.

It's where I share lane walks and moon musings, behind-the-scenes glimpses as new journals are created, stories from the Castle as it slowly comes to life, and the ordinary moments that often become the most meaningful.

If you were here before...

Welcome back.

If you're new...

Welcome in.

The Sanctuary

The Quieter Door

Not everyone enjoys social media.

Sometimes the inbox feels gentler.

The Sanctuary is where I send occasional letters filled with seasonal reflections, new creations, quiet encouragement and the things I don't always share anywhere else.

No constant promotions.

No pressure.

Just thoughtful words arriving every now and then, like a letter from a friend who remembers what matters.

The Beckoning

A Different Way Home

The Beckoning is the heart of everything you'll find here.

One turning of the Wheel. Thirteen Moons. Thirteen Goddesses. Quiet practices, stories and reflections that help you remember your own rhythm.

If you've wandered through these pages and something has quietly stirred...

The Beckoning is where the journey begins.

A year of moonlit wanderings, gentle remembering and walking beside the woman you've always been.
